CORRELATION ANALYSIS
The Correlation Analysis gives the total spectral correlation between the HRV Analysis - R-R intervals and the amplitude of the plethysmographic waves or between R-R intervals and I-I intervals - inspiration waves. The obtained value is ‘zero’ harmonic of the correlation spectrum.

In this way, the following is derived:
* Total spectral correlation power;
* Power associated with “long spectral waves” (Pl),
* Power associated with middle spectral waves (Pm);
* Power associated with “short waves” (Ps) of the amplitude correlation spectrum;
* Maximal spectral power (as amplitude (s/Hz2) and frequency (Hz)
Imaginary and phase correlation spectrum can be also selected. A decreased spectral correlation (coherence) speaks about decrease in the ability to adapt towards extreme stresses.
The work with this option presumes more detailed knowledge and education.
