The Dantest Health Check (Light) is a scientifically valid yet extremely simple in use tool designed for measurement of the human body's so-called inner balance* and ability for an adequate self-regulation. Maintaining this inner balance with ease in the face of the changing conditions of our external and internal environment is a sign of health. Inner balance is the key to longevity and is a healthy response to the stress of life.
Dantest Health Check (Light) consists of two main parts: a pulse wave sensor with an ear-clip and special Windows software. The pulse wave sensor measures the blood volume pulsations in earlobe or finger caused by heartbeats and transmits data to the PC for processing. The software uses the advanced technology of recording pulse wave signal to derive the heart rate data. The heart rate data is processed to obtain current state of the inner balance and self-regulatory activity.
By measuring the heart's rhythmic patterns (also called Heart Rate Variability, or HRV) the Dantest Health Check (Light) can assess body’s self-regulation very accurately.
A 5-minute recording of the pulse wave with a simple ear-clip optical sensor is all that is needed to quickly receive an accurate assessment of the status of the sympathetic and parasympathetic branches of the autonomic nervous system. The system evaluates whether you are in balance and provides insights into the strength of all regulatory mechanisms. With the system you can evaluate your client's overall health condition, the effect of selected treatment or other intervantion applied for your client, the effectiveness of selected course of treatment. Hardware Overview
Dantest Health Check (Light) uses specialized hardware. It is an electronic device, which transforms the ECG signal into an analogue curve on your PC. You have a choice among several different types of hardware.
Dantest Health Check (Light) supports the following devices:
DT-HW5
DT-HW5 is an extended version of DT-HW1 with a much improved user interface, increased features and possibilities, larger memory, and an opportunity for data transfer from the hardware to the PC through USB and IR ports.
DT-HW5 (double-channel) – registers and records from ECG and plethismographic signals in analogue mode.
The most important results are presented on its liquid crystal display, since it is capable of processing the signals from the two channels and return some results data. In essence the DT-HW5 is an 32- bit computer.
The optical differentiation between the PC and the examined patient allows for the US & EU requirement for electro-safety level (EU product).
DT-HW6
DT-HW6 is an Lite Version of DT-HW5 and it can work only connected with PC. Data transfer from the hardware to the PC is through USB
DT-HW6 (double-channel) – registers and records from ECG and plethismographic signals in analogue mode.
